LOL. That IS interesting. Almost like this except in far, far, FAR better taste: [link]
In fact upon closer inspection, these two frames carry... a very lovely note. One of a girl, the other of a guy. And then there's the person behind, in the second frame, also with a camera. Just... very quaint and delightful -- My Portfolio Katie Franke Traditional Art Gallery Moderator You know, I actually like this one quite a lot. I get all sorts of feelings while looking at these pictures, and I also find myself imagining a storyline. It has this movie-like feel that I adore. Almost as if these pictures were the ones taken by each of the "models" to the other one Someone's got an eye for photography... -- Flickr "Oh, my life, is changing every day, in every possible way." LOL unintentional diptych. Looks awesome!

The photographs show a boy and girl, their faces obscured by cameras. There are a number of narratives that could be considered here. A romance? A couple seperated by time or location, but connected by their actions. Or a more sinister concept, as both photographers are focused on the viewer and this could suggest surveillance or being watched and recorded. Which ever meaning the viewer decides to find within these images, there is no disputing that the conceptual depth of the photography is amazing.
I like how you have evaluated your photographs after taking them and decided that these two would work well as a diptych. It shows that more thought has gone into the work, rather than just being a couple of snap shots. It also reminded me of the work of Martin Wilson. (Who takes rolls of film with the intention that, once fitted together, they make a greater image.)
Technicly the processing of the films isnt perfect, but this is not of great importance as the concept is far more interesting to an audience than the quality of the images themselves. It would be stupid to expect technical brilliance for a first film anyway, photography is about experimentation.
To conclude, great images - I really like the exploration of identity and technology. I'm sure you will continue to capture interesting and conceptual moments in the future, you have an eye for an image.
